I finally got around to trying this place. I really liked it! The hot dog itself is very good. Load it down and it’s even better. I opted for customizing mine and did chili and palmetto cheese. It was awesome! Heads up, I’d order online and walk up to the pick up window. I was in and out in a minute. I don’t know why some people have been overly critical. I even saw a couple people only give 4 stars because it was messy! If you order a hotdog with slaw and chili, it’s going to be sloppy! Get out a fork or stop ordering a loaded hot dog. I’ll definitely be back and recommend others give this a try as well.
Absolutely delicious! They have so many options, staff and owners are really friendly! They make the ranch in house and it’s so good don’t skip out! lol! Lots of menu options. Would give 10 stars if I could!
Hotdogs, an American staple in a variety of settings and events. A food group that can throw a smile on the grumpiest of frowns. I have eaten here many times since they’ve opened and each time the consensus is the same, it’s fantastic. The food is reasonable, hot, delicious and gone all too soon. If you’re looking for a fun outing with friends, family or coworkers and you are in the area of downtown Fort Mill, I can not recommend anything else. And if by chance you are not satisfied this restaurant goes above and beyond with customer service and will make it right. Hotdog Depot is a must for any local.
There are either some real whiners posting bad reviews on this place, or you’re the chosen unlucky ones. Never had a bad meal or bad experience from this place. Rock Hill is a long drive for us so really appreciate them being here (aka closer). Keep improving and serving great food Depot!
Food is always fresh and made to order Truly amazing employees Endless options to customize the hot dogs and burgers... something for everyone for sure.. they even have milkshakes and brownies for dessert!! My son really enjoys the French fries Stop in and check them out
Excellent hotdogs at Hot dog depot!!! I got the all beef South Carolina dog with added Catsup. So so great! Excellent Chili and the hotdog has a great flavor too. I’m in Pittsburgh now, and there are a lot lot’s of hot dog joints there but not a one is nearly as good as this is. Ok...this was really really good! I was very impressed with everything. This day and age to get a quality local meal is hard to keep costs low. Somehow, these folks are doing it right! Ordered the depot dog deal. Delicious!! 10 for 2 dogs, tots and a drink. I do wish they had any option where you could choose your dogs for variety. Maybe a 12 deal? My daughter had the southwest dog and mozzarella sticks. She really enjoyed hers as well. Less than 20 for 2 people at a local spot is hard to find! Even their other items are great deals. Some of the cheapest burgers (especially for double or triple meat) and milkshakes are some of the cheapest I've seen. Can't wait to go back!! One other suggestion, maybe add a few picnic tables of the property allows it. Would have been nice to sit outside on this beautiful day. However, the park is right across the road
